A season win total on one book can sit half a win apart from the same team on another, and the price attached to the over or under can move even when the number doesn’t. Shopping one book means accepting whatever number and price it happens to post. BetFirm compares 4 sportsbooks, updated September 11, 2026, so the gap between them is visible before a bet gets placed.
Every NFL team is listed below with the best available price on the over and the best available price on the under, pulled from BetRivers, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings. Last season’s win total sits next to the current number for context, since the two rarely match and the size of that gap is often the real story.

Pace is the team’s current rate stretched over 17 games; green means on track for the over. Over and under show the best price on the closing number. The books on this board list only the over price, so an under marked ≈ is estimated from that over and the market’s typical margin on these totals (4.8%). It usually lands within a few cents of the real under; check the book before betting it. A Kalshi price is what a $1 payout costs, in cents, so the price is the win chance: 40c is +150, 60c is -150. How to read a Kalshi price. Kalshi is what a buyer actually pays for the over on the consensus total (over 9.5 is the contract for at least 10 wins), shown as sportsbook odds so it lines up with the book prices: the ask plus the 7% taker fee. The mid under it is the market’s fair read, halfway between bid and ask, which nobody can buy at. Cheaper after fees compares each side’s real cost, the No contract standing in for the under.
A short season leaves little room to average out bad luck. One quarterback injury, a rash of injuries on either line, or a soft closing schedule can swing a win total more than talent alone ever would. Betting a number here means pricing in health and schedule as much as roster strength.
That’s why the same team can look like an over play early and an under play later without much changing on paper. A total that looks safe in the offseason can turn fragile fast once a starter goes down. Treat the number as a bet on how a team stays healthy and who it plays, not just on how good it is.
The total itself is only half the bet. The price attached to the over or the under moves independently of the number, so two books can post the same total at different odds, or a half-win difference at similar prices. Comparing BetRivers, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings side by side shows which combination actually pays best.
A half-game gap matters more than it looks. A total posted a half win lower on one book can turn a push into a win, or turn a close under into a loser, without anything happening on the field. Shopping the number and the price together, rather than settling for whichever book loads first, is the difference between a fair total and a soft one.
The biggest gaps on the board sit where the number and last season disagree the most. The Bengals enter with a total built well above their 6 wins a season ago, up to 10.5, a bet that the roster or schedule turned in their favor. The Broncos sit on the other side, priced down from 14 wins to 9.5, a bet that last year’s record won’t repeat.
Neither gap is automatically right or wrong. A total built on turnover, a new starter, easier opponents, or a schedule that got tougher can be sound even when it looks aggressive next to last season’s number. The teams asked to move the most in either direction are usually the ones worth the closest look before a bet goes down.
