The New York Knicks used a lot of energy in their comeback win over the Atlanta Hawks last night. Four starters played at least 36 minutes in their 119-110 victory. I question how much they’ll have left in the tank tonight, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they sit a starter or two.
The Brooklyn Nets are 3-2 ATS in their last five games overall. They pulled the 132-114 upset win at Portland, took the Lakers to the wire in a 102-101 loss as 9.5-point road dogs, and took the Jazz to the wire in a 112-111 loss as 3.5-point road dogs.
The Nets get up for this game every time they play the Knicks. They are 2-0-1 ATS in the last three meetings losing by 10, 2 and 4 points all on the road. Each of the last five meetings were decided by 12 points or fewer and four of them were played in New York.
The Knicks haven’t covered two in a row since December 30 to January 1st. New York is 0-4 SU & 0-4 ATS in its last four games following a win. This number is too high tonight. Bet the Nets Tuesday.
