Week 16 in the NFL kept with the recent trends of home teams under-performing (7-9 against the spread 8-8 straight up), and favorites performing well (8-6 ATS, 9-5 SU). We also saw another week where the point spread didn’t have much impact. All but one favorite won and covered the spread. The 49ers were the lone team that didn’t cover the number and win outright with their 34-31 win over the Rams as a 6.5-point favorite.
