Week 12 NFL Betting Odds: Vegas Lines & Game Predictions

There weren’t many surprises in the NFL last week. Favorites went 12-2 overall and 9-5 against the spread. Only the Panthers and Redskins lost as favorites. Road favorites did particularly well, going 4-0 both straight up and against the spread.

At this point in the season we have a handful of teams that are virtual locks to make the playoffs.  The Patriots, Ravens, 49ers, and Packers would need to have a complete meltdown to miss out on the postseason. Let’s take a look at this week’s betting odds.

Week 12 NFL Point Spreads, Totals & Free Picks

Thursday night we finally get a meaningful game with the Colts at Texans. Both teams are 6-4, tied for the lead in the AFC South. The winner will take a huge step in securing a playoff spot.

The Packers at 49ers should be a great game, but it shouldn’t have much impact on the season overall. Both teams are comfortably slotted in the playoff picture.  Teams that really need a win include the Rams and Raiders, who are currently projected to miss out on the post season.  They’ll be hoping for losses by the Bills, Texans, Seahawks, or Vikings in the comping weeks (Minnesota is on a bye this week).
