Athletics over Rangers - Both clubs enter this battle 8-7 which is a surprise to many as the A’s are not highly regarded. Texas is expected to return to form and have won the past six meetings going back to April 2025. The last time the A’s defeated Texas the same pair of pitchers were starting for both clubs with Luis Severino (0-1, 5.40 ERA) got the win going five innings and allowing just one run picking up the victory. The Rangers Nathan Eovaldi (1-2, 7.98) was up to the task going six innings also surrendering one run. After a shaky start the A’s have won their last five and are playing with confidence. Chip Chirimbes is one of those names people know even if they’re not in on the sports betting industry. He is a famed pro who has made several regular TV appearances throughout his 40-year career. Many of those were on his own, nationally-syndicated show.
