Texas at San Francisco 10:10 ET Rangers over Giants - I really hate to take this side today because this Giants team plays the kind of baseball that you rarely see in professional sports any more and that is a team that plays all out, takes the extra base and don’t give up on any game no matter how down they are or how late it is in that game. But, tonight they will face Nathan Eovaldi (1-2, 2.64 ERA) who has won just once but has allowed just 31 hits in 37 innings of work with 41 strikeouts. Jason Verlander (0-1, 5.47) has seen better days and won’t get by this Rangers lineup. Take TEXAS! |

Boston at Cleveland 7:10 ET Red Sox over Ohioans - I find it a bit odd that Boston should come up a small favorite at Cleveland although the former Tribesman have a better record and are at home. The Red Sox will start Tanner Houck (0-2, 7.66 ERA) who has yet to hit is stride this season but has an ERA of 2.37 and 27 strikeouts against Cleveland in 30 inning worked. I should add that the ‘scalpers’ are 7-2 at home as well as 7-2 in their past nine meetings against Boston. With this price the Red Sox should come up big. Take BOSTON! |

Rangers over Giants - I really like what I see when the Giants are on the field as they are playing an aggressive extra-base taking club that will force you to me a play. The hustle on the bases and play a fundamentally sound game. Now, that does not mean that they are unbeatable but they will give with the Dodgers and Padres a run for the money. Texas won Friday’s meetings as Eovaldi out-dueled Verlander 2-0. The Rangers Tyler Mahle (3-0, 0.68 ERA) at 30 has finally fund himself and has surrendered just two runs in 26.2 innings. Take TEXAS!

Chip Chirimbes is one of those names people know even if they’re not in on the sports betting industry. He is a famed pro who has made several regular TV appearances throughout his 40-year career. Many of those were on his own, nationally-syndicated show.
Chip is one of the few handicappers you can trust because he has a reputation as one of the faces of the industry. And he puts that reputation on the line every time he puts out a pick. He has this reputation because he wins, and so he needs to keep winning to maintain it.
Of course, one of the first concerns with an industry veteran as well-traveled as Chip is the present. Is he still as good now as he was when he was the face of a national sports betting broadcast in the 70s and 80s? Or is he just a washed up handicapper coasting on his reputation.
