We like the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles to defeat the Missouri State Bears on Sunday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones: Oral Roberts got embarrassed on Monday, losing to a division two program at home. They have had time to think about that one and will come out ready to go today. The Golden Eagles are better than their record and will start playing better beginning today. They are 5-0 in their L5 home games against Missouri State. Oral Roberts are also 12-3 over their L15 games played in the month of December. The Bears have lost five road games in a row. MOSU are also coming into this game off back-to-back losses themselves including a 20 point loss on their home court against SDST. This game is huge for Oral Roberts' confidence. We like the Cincinnati Bengals to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at 1:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones: The Bengals might have a worse record. But, Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are doing everything that they can to turn things around. Cincinnati are 8-2-1 versus the spread over their L11 games played in the month of December. (4-2 against the spread over their L6 overall this season.) They are also scoring a lot of points this season averaging 27.0 points a game which is 6th best in NFL. The Steelers are averaging more than four points less than that per game at 22.9. Pittsburgh are also coming off a bad loss to Cleveland last weekend in the snow. We like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to defeat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at 4:05pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones: The Buccaneers blew the Giants out last week. They will be looking for a repeat of that this weekend. Tampa are 12-3 versus the spread over their L15 games played away from home. When playing against Carolina, Tampa Bay have won seven of the L8 meetings, while covering against the spread in six of them. Carolina are fresh off a very close loss against Kansas City. They showed flashes of what they can do, but ultimately fell short last week. They will return to losing again this week. The Panthers are 3-15 in their L18 games played against NFC opponents. They are also just 3-9 versus the spread since the final game of last season. We think that this spread is too low. The Buccaneers will win this game by at least two scores in week 13. AAA Sports |
