NFL Week 9 Vegas Odds: Betting Lines & Totals

After eight weeks of NFL action we are still left with a pair of undefeated teams in the Patriots (8-0) and the 49ers (7-0), and just one remaining winless team, the Dolphins (0-7).

Things are starting to shape up around the league with the majority of divisions clear leaders emerging. The exceptions are the AFC South, where the Colts and Texans are battling it out for the top spot, the NFC East, which always seems to be up for grabs (this year between the Cowboys and Eagles), and the NFC West and North. The West has three legitimate teams that could still end up winning in the 49ers, Seahawks (6-2) and Rams (5-3), so head-to-head matchups there are going to be crucial.  In the North, the Packers are leading at 7-1, but the Vikings improved to 6-2 last week and are right there waiting for Green Bay to stumble.  Now let’s see what we have going on this week.

Week 9 is sure to be a good one despite some teams being up in the air with the status of key players. There are surprisingly few double-digit spreads, the only one currently posted as the 49ers at the Cardinals. There are some key games for teams like the Texans, Vikings, Colts, Packers, and Ravens. While not all have division implications it is not too early for these teams to start thinking about the wildcard standings and getting into the postseason.
