MLB :   Astros vs. Yankees

A possible preview of the AL Championship series here tonight as the 1st place AL West Houston Astros take on the 1st place AL East Ny Yankees. This is a four game series and both teams have been hot. The Astros have won three straight games and six of their last seven. Framber Valdez starts tonight for the Astros with a 7-3 record and 2.78 ERA. HE's been great on the road with a 4-1 record in his seven away starts and a 1.61 ERA. Valdez has just one start this year where he allowed more than three runs in a game and that was way back on April 19th. The Yankees have won 11 of their last 13 games. Jameson Taillon will start tonight. Taillon is 8-1 in his 13 starts with a 2.70 ERA. Taillon is coming off a start where he allowed no runs over 5 2/3 inning to Toronto.
